Enagic Mlm Business Review – What’s The Scoop With Enagic?

Enagic is a network marketing company that offers water alkalizing machines, as well as a business opportunity to generate income selling the water ionizer. They are very popular in Asia (primarily Japan) but have expanded over to the United States, and are fast becoming known as an attractive business opportunity.

However, there are some very real concerns about starting or participating in an Enagic business. In this article, we will go through and give an unbiased review of the pros and cons of doing an Enagic business, and see if Enagic truly is a great business opportunity…or a great scam.

ENAGIC – The Good

Enagic was founded on June 21, 1974, but it was not until March of 1988 that they focused on the benefits of their Kangen Water(TM). They are based out of Tokyo, and have only been in the United States since 2003.

Their flagship water alkalizing unit is the LevelLuk, which comes in a variety of different models, but lets you reduce the acidity and increase the alkalinity of the water you consume. The benefits of using and consuming depend on who you listen to. There are numerous scientific reports that detail the benefits for intestinal and digest issues, but some distributors of Enagic claim far more sensational results. It is generally accepted that there are health benefits of alkalizing the water that is consumed.

As an income opportunity, Enagic allows distributors to bank up to 50% on product sales, which is pretty good considering average compensation in network marketing ranges from 35% to 45%. Not too shabby.

ENAGIC – The Bad

Enagic distributes their water ionizers via network marketing, which means that people who use the product can also receive commissions and build a downline to generate income. While it seems that Enagic has a great product, there are some concerns about the pricing of their product pricing, as their units can cost up to ,000. Enagic claims that their product is much better than other water alkalizing units, and justify the price because of the additional benefits.

ENAGIC – The Ugly

The disappointing aspect about Enagic is how they teach their distributors to grow their businesses. Like many network marketing companies, they advocate the use of leveraging your “warm marketing” to grow your business. They suggest you hand out business cards, flyers, DVD’s, and actually let people “demo” the unit in their homes…all on the distributors dime!

They also conduct meetings where they demonstrate how the units function, the and advocate that all distributors bring their prospects to these events to grow their businesses. These types of outdated marketing techniques might work well in Japan, but American consumers are much more skeptical of multi-level programs, and most people do not like to be sold by their friends and family.

Growing an Enagic business can be a great opportunity. They appear to have a great product, but there are plenty of companies that have great products, and many people that market great products never make a dime. There are also plenty of terrible products that generate millions of dollars in revenue (anyone remember the pet rock?) The difference is the marketer, and their ability to target their market effectively.

In closing, I would say that starting and developing an Enagic business is lucrative if you know how to effectively use good marketing tools and techniques. It is not a scam, but like any business, success will be determined by the skill-set of the marketer. Enagic is definitely not a lottery ticket or a stock option – meaning, you do not just buy in and wait for a payout.

If someone does not have the first clue on how to market effectively, then I would suggest they either learn how to be an effective marketer, or else just use the product for the health benefits.

I tried not to sound too harsh towards the client who suggested this to me. I believe she is sincere and don’t want to throw that sincerity back in her face. That being said, this is pseudo science mumbo jumbo. The “experts” cunningly talk about how high acid levels in the blood cause disease, then suggest drinking “good” water for better health. And hey, I’ve got this machine that makes “good” water, drink that! These are crooks, plain and simple. They should know better, and I believe they do know better. They are just praying on the ignorant. Hey, that sound strikingly familiar. Here is a good web site that further explains how much of a scam this is. www.chem1.com Here is another site that has some extracts for several scientific journals. I’m getting a few “cite your sources” but I’m not sure if this will do any good. Most that have already bought into this crap don’t REALLY want to be dis proven. www.apswater.com If you want more, search for it your GOD DAMN SELF! It took me 2 minutes to find dozens of scientific reviews on the subject.

@hip2bsquare02 Call it a natural high. Something that negative ions and oxygen does. I’ve experienced a similar, but not as strong, high from such things as ozone from high-quality ozonator, magnesium peroxide (Homozon is the best value I’ve found), and therapeutic/medicinal-grade essential oils. In April I bought the Enagic LeveLuk SD501and am very happy to almost always drink & use fresh Kangen Water™ and give it away as do most distributors.

if Alkaline water was really everything that it’s supposed to be, legitimate medical treatments that incorporate this “miracle water” would exist! Be wary of anything that seems like a “medical secret”, especially if you have to pay an outrageous amount of money for it! @Timbawulf you feel enlivened within 5 seconds of drinking this water? Might be the Placebo Effect…

is this guy Donald Rumsfeld addicted to aspartame.

  • nefets99 says:

epic comment i agree with pretty much all your saying in the comments and video, @alkalineliving other than your comments being complete bullshit just to further YOUR SALES you also know more than 4 liters of water can cause water poisoning right?

  • tecnoblix says:

@Alkalineliving Wow. That makes me wonder why we even have doctors. All we need to do is drink this water and it will cure cancer, cure the common cold, and hell, it probably even stops aging! I don’t know how I could have doubted!

  • Alkalineliving says:

You should really do more research on something before you down it. Alkaline water and diet has helped thousands of people all over the world overcome all kinds of health conditions, a few I have witnessed are cancer, MS, fibromyalgia, HIV, diabetes, overweight, underweight, and chronic fatigue. Some of my friends would not be here today if it were not for this discovery.

  • Alkalineliving says:

Four years ago, I found out I had 3 Brest tumors that my doctor told me had to be surgically removed. I decided not to get the surgery and changed to and alkaline diet and drank 5liters alkaline water a day. Within six months the tumors were gone, and so were my allergies, chronic knee & back pain, and a problem with vertigo that my doctors could not explain or treat. I also have improved energy levels and I don’t get colds anymore.

  • Timbawulf says:

The first sidebar link thankfully cites what it calls a “huckster cite,” dismissing all but one placebo-controlled study. Placebo effect is not a factor in animal studies. Pets, including my own, are clearly healthier. The second sidebar link admits no search for foreign studies. Unlike any filtered water, using Kangen water to soak produce, even organic, quickly (10 min.) draws out residues (pesticides?), makes them taste far better and last much longer. What’s stopping you from trying it?

  • tecnoblix says:

    @Timbawulf See side bar

  • Timbawulf says:

At 2:57, referring to Betty (who “should know better”) you said, “She gave me two gallons of water…” How much, if any, have you drunk? If you drank it, did you test yourself with pH strips? Even assuming you drank both gallons, the longer you have a more alkaline biological terrain, naturally the greater the benefits. At 4:22 you said, “Without going into all those scientific references, I’m going to give you just one basic question…” Please cite at least one scientific reference.

  • tecnoblix says:

@Timbawulf The studies your “Doctors” are referring to are studies on increased water intake! Not alkaline water, not magic water, just plain water! Try reading your own recourse material.

  • Timbawulf says:

He claims there are clinical studies that drinking alkaline water doesn’t equate to more alkaline blood, but at about 4:30 he admits he’s not going to cite them. Use pH test strips to test your urine after fasting/awaking. I’ve been drinking Enagic Kangen water two months and love the energy, endurance, and health benefits (including better complexion). My friends who drink it have noticed the same and look much younger. I felt enlivened within 5 seconds of first drinking it. Try B4 U knock.

  • redfurrymonster says:

they way to make your blood less acidic is to stop eating foods that cause acidity in the blood grains, legumes, cheeses and salt. No magic water required. Of course she got mad at you. The woman spent good money on this snake oil and feels compelled to defend it regardless of the facts. Agreeing with you might cause her to admit that she had been duped.

  • tecnoblix says:

@EricDeRise Not very well I’m afraid. I’m pretty sure I lost a client. What can I do, it’s not like I’m NOT going to give her my opinion. She asked me to look into it and tell her what I thought. Mission accomplished!

  • EricDeRise says:

Wow. How did that go over?

  • tecnoblix says:

@floydstinkyboy Well, looks like I might have lost a client. Apparently criticizing her magic water made her blow steam. It’s a shame really, I was only trying to help.

  • tecnoblix says:

@floydstinkyboy I was actually thinking of just sending her the link to this video. I don’t think I was too harsh, was I?

  • floydstinkyboy says:

    guilty.

btw thx for making this video. these kinds of mlm scammers need exposure. if i was you i would very very kindly somehow let my client know you researched her product and “have some concerns”. or maybe not, depends on how good a client she is.

  • tecnoblix says:

@floydstinkyboy Now you’re just being cheeky.

  • floydstinkyboy says:

    hehe me tooo!

ps are you humble, or just timorous?

  • tecnoblix says:

@floydstinkyboy Damn dude! I actually had to look that word up! I am humbled.

  • floydstinkyboy says:

especially when someone is so amphibological!

  • tecnoblix says:

@floydstinkyboy Oops! Sorry. Sometimes sarcasm is hard to pick up in text.
