Enagic Mlm Business Review – What’s The Scoop With Enagic?
Enagic is a network marketing company that offers water alkalizing machines, as well as a business opportunity to generate income selling the water ionizer. They are very popular in Asia (primarily Japan) but have expanded over to the United States, and are fast becoming known as an attractive business opportunity.
However, there are some very real concerns about starting or participating in an Enagic business. In this article, we will go through and give an unbiased review of the pros and cons of doing an Enagic business, and see if Enagic truly is a great business opportunity…or a great scam.
ENAGIC – The Good
Enagic was founded on June 21, 1974, but it was not until March of 1988 that they focused on the benefits of their Kangen Water(TM). They are based out of Tokyo, and have only been in the United States since 2003.
Their flagship water alkalizing unit is the LevelLuk, which comes in a variety of different models, but lets you reduce the acidity and increase the alkalinity of the water you consume. The benefits of using and consuming depend on who you listen to. There are numerous scientific reports that detail the benefits for intestinal and digest issues, but some distributors of Enagic claim far more sensational results. It is generally accepted that there are health benefits of alkalizing the water that is consumed.
As an income opportunity, Enagic allows distributors to bank up to 50% on product sales, which is pretty good considering average compensation in network marketing ranges from 35% to 45%. Not too shabby.
ENAGIC – The Bad
Enagic distributes their water ionizers via network marketing, which means that people who use the product can also receive commissions and build a downline to generate income. While it seems that Enagic has a great product, there are some concerns about the pricing of their product pricing, as their units can cost up to ,000. Enagic claims that their product is much better than other water alkalizing units, and justify the price because of the additional benefits.
ENAGIC – The Ugly
The disappointing aspect about Enagic is how they teach their distributors to grow their businesses. Like many network marketing companies, they advocate the use of leveraging your “warm marketing” to grow your business. They suggest you hand out business cards, flyers, DVD’s, and actually let people “demo” the unit in their homes…all on the distributors dime!
They also conduct meetings where they demonstrate how the units function, the and advocate that all distributors bring their prospects to these events to grow their businesses. These types of outdated marketing techniques might work well in Japan, but American consumers are much more skeptical of multi-level programs, and most people do not like to be sold by their friends and family.
Growing an Enagic business can be a great opportunity. They appear to have a great product, but there are plenty of companies that have great products, and many people that market great products never make a dime. There are also plenty of terrible products that generate millions of dollars in revenue (anyone remember the pet rock?) The difference is the marketer, and their ability to target their market effectively.
In closing, I would say that starting and developing an Enagic business is lucrative if you know how to effectively use good marketing tools and techniques. It is not a scam, but like any business, success will be determined by the skill-set of the marketer. Enagic is definitely not a lottery ticket or a stock option – meaning, you do not just buy in and wait for a payout.
If someone does not have the first clue on how to market effectively, then I would suggest they either learn how to be an effective marketer, or else just use the product for the health benefits.
I tried not to sound too harsh towards the client who suggested this to me. I believe she is sincere and don’t want to throw that sincerity back in her face. That being said, this is pseudo science mumbo jumbo. The “experts” cunningly talk about how high acid levels in the blood cause disease, then suggest drinking “good” water for better health. And hey, I’ve got this machine that makes “good” water, drink that! These are crooks, plain and simple. They should know better, and I believe they do know better. They are just praying on the ignorant. Hey, that sound strikingly familiar. Here is a good web site that further explains how much of a scam this is. www.chem1.com Here is another site that has some extracts for several scientific journals. I’m getting a few “cite your sources” but I’m not sure if this will do any good. Most that have already bought into this crap don’t REALLY want to be dis proven. www.apswater.com If you want more, search for it your GOD DAMN SELF! It took me 2 minutes to find dozens of scientific reviews on the subject.
